Contractors and citizens who have initiated the permitting process can now check the status of their permit on line. Most permits are turned around within seven days from receipt of all required information. It is important to note that state law allows for up to 30 days for the building department to complete the review process.
NOTE: This service is offered to help you monitor the progress of your permit. Until you receive a hard copy of your permit in the mail, you are NOT authorized to begin work.
The most frequently used Status Types are OPEN which means your permit is being reviewed and ISSUED which means that your permit has been approved.
