Chapter 61A and 61B applications MUST BE FILED BY OCTOBER 1ST OF THE CALENDAR YEAR PRECEDING THE FISCAL YEAR FOR WHICH THEY APPLY. Chapter 61 plans must be renewed with the forester every 5-10 years depending on your particular plan. The updated plans must be submitted to
the Assessors office by October 1st of the calendar year preceding the fiscal year for which they apply.
